WHAT IS NATONEX?
NATONEX NS3m is our newest product that adds more functionality to your DJI RONIN RS3 mini gimbal. High quality durable material in combination with an effective design has resulted in a small yet powerful addition to your gimbal. Machined from aviation-grade aluminum 7075 alloy with its hard anodized surface (or E-coated white finish in GOLD on SNOW model), it can withstand harsh environmental factors, bumps and bruises and normal wear and tear.
NATONEX is a connectivity extender that expands the number of NATO rails on DJI RONIN RS3 mini gimbal and eliminates the gimbal's limitations to connect to multiple NATO accessories at the same time due to its single NATO rail design. It allows a wide range of accessories such as extra arms and handles, external monitor arms, cheese plates, microphones, LED video lights and extra batteries to connect to the front and both sides of the gimbal using NATO clamps or 1/4” threaded screw holes.

I bought my DJI RONIN RS3 gimbal mainly to get rid of my shaky hands’ effects in my home videos and create smoother movements in the videos I create from my family. The reason I chose the RS3 mini gimbal compared to its larger siblings was its smaller size, lighter weight and simplicity of use. Since then, I have enjoyed this piece of equipment although at times I was annoyed by its single NATO rail design which limited my ability to connect my extra handle, monitor and V-mount battery. Attaching all my accessories to a single NATO rail on one side, also affected the gimbal’s center of gravity and balance and caused major fatigue in my arms every time I was using my gimbal, so I designed the NATONEX for and realized life became much easier! That is the reason I decided to share it with the rest of the world who love their RS3 mini gimbals! ... Dr K.
NATONEX is machined as single piece from aluminum 7075 alloy which is also known as aviation-grade aluminum due to its increased hardness and is widely used in aerospace industries. It is more durable and shows better resistance to wear and tear and harsh environmental factors compared to the commonly used 6061 alloy which is found in the majority of consumer grade products.
NATONEX comes with a STRAPEX-I padded adjustable neck / shoulder strap that connects to the side strap connectors. The STRAPEX is made of durable high-quality materials with all-metal buckles which provides the user with more stability and comfort when using the gimbal and makes it easier to move the gimbal around when not in use. It has a breathable mesh on the back where in contact with the neck and the shoulder which makes it more comfortable to operate the gimbal and carry it.
